  • Musical was great. Can't wait to see the movie.

  • i would love this movie if it wasnt a musical & if it had more drugs

  • @Ventus98 I agree. I do kinda wish they had stayed more along the lines of the stage show but at the time same time the changes don't look bad at all just different. It's not the version of the film I necesarily wanted but I do think it'll be good in a different way. Or at least I hope it will be. I honestly wasn't expecting them to be to loyal to the stage show (usually that's reserved for classics like Phantom).

  • this movie can't come out soon enough!

  • @LeLAOve I'm not necessarily complaining about the changes, just observing. Despite its differences from the original, it still looks like it will be a very good movie.

  • Why are you all so shocked? They always cut things out for the movie. Movies are shorter than musicals. They will have to remove things from the plot to cut down the time and to make it work better as a movie and sometimes that includes taking away whole characters and moving characters around to make the plot work.

Look at any stage-to-film adaptation and you will see they are different and things are cut, yet they are still great movies.

You can't go in comparing this to the staged version.

  • @Ventus98 Okay dear, let me prep you for this before you get all down and upset.

This is an motion-picture adaptation. That means things will be changed to work better for film not only character and appearance-wise, but also regarding the stories flow.

It is not the stage musical copied directly onto a film. If they did that, they might as well just tape the musical on stage.

It will be different. Very different.

Still, by the looks of it, this is going to be a GREAT movie.

  • Wow, they changed a lot of the story from the looks of it. I hope it's still good.

  • The movie is BASED on the.musical of course there gonna cut some things out
