The shopkeeper owns all who steals his stuff and come back. Ok here's something. Buy the shovel first. Then steal the bow and never go back into the shop again.

There's a part inside of me when I come out of that shop that says, FUCK YEAH! I JUST GOT IT FOR FREE! .. But then there's a bigger part inside me that reads the 'your a thief' message in Shame.. And then I feel like shit the whole game :(

@DaxB92 You can only steal once before he kills you. The only item you'll want to ever steal is the bow. After that there is no more reason to visit the shop because a lot of enemies will give you items like arrows and bombs for free.

@Blackdrake1 If I remember correctly, you get a warning first and don't get zapped until your second theft, meaning you could actually steal both the bow and arrow as well as the shovel before you 'pay the ultimate price'...

lol as you can see, the shop clerk has a bit of a delayed reaction time. so, if you can get past him to the exit in just enough time, you can get out of the store with free items...if you want to pay the consequences...lol
