I saw this on WGN during a break in the ballgame.

Laughed my ass off and almost fell off my bed.

Yeah, it probably WAS the best compromise between the people at the time! And that time was TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO. Today, times are different. Blacks can vote. Women can vote. People can have attorneys free of charge. Our founding fathers would NOT have approved of some of these things.

And the whole idea that they could EVER tell what would make us happy is laughable. Today, we have most of the same rights we always have, but more Americans are unhappy because they don't APPRECIATE THEM!

WTF is with all these defeatist attitudes? This is AMERICA people. We've survived for hundreds of years in the midst of corruption and "socialist ideals." More than likely, we'll survive this too. If we don't, I'll personally apologize to every one of you.
