Excluded From Saddleback Church

The exclusion of independent and third party presidential candidates from the Saddleback Church Forum, held on Saturday August 16th, can only be interpreted as an endorsement of the two corporate parties by the church. We made our presence known and stood in solidarity with supporters of various candidates and causes which would not be heard that night.

Join us on August 27 in Denver during the Democratic National Convention to demand our inclusion in future presidential debates and forums.

Talk about "wasting your vote..." Voting for one of the corporate candidates is the BIGGEST waste of your vote. You're gonna get the same thing. Vote for Nader for real change.

Every comment must be approved and only the positive ones get posted.

This is against the first amendment and our right to free speech that says "All Americans not only have the right but the DUTY to question our leaders"

Nope, Nader knows his stuff. It's not at all a matter if Nader is wrong or right. Obama and McCain would have a lot to lose if they debated Nader. He's very dangerous. Could you imagine if Nader got as much coverage as them? That would be the death of a two party system and the death of corporate control.

Ralph must be one scary SOB! How else to explain why the Dems and Repubs are so afraid of Ralph, they won't even TALK to him? If he's so wrong, if he's so "out there," what do they have to lose by debating him? They should come off looking great! Unless, of course, Ralph is right....

Obama talks of change. McCain is supposed to be a maverick. Well why not change the debate system and be more of a maverick by including at least Nader and Barr in the debates. The League of Women Voters would have at least Nader in the debate at this point based on the polls!

Yeah, I guess I would watch those debates cause it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. I do agree that the two party system (not necessarily corporate candidates) have a complete control over politics and refuses to allow such third parties such as Libertarian, Constitution, Reform, and Green participate in the political process. Several state laws make it impossible to get on the ballot. Bob Barr's is filing a lawsuit to get on Oklahoma. But'll he'll got on 49.
