this couldnt have been scripted any better. on tuesday the 21st, manny got HBP on his left hand. they listed him as Day to Day. the next day on wednesday july 22 manny was not in the starting line up. this was his bobblehead night. so there were alot of questions about will we see manny. as i was walking in my friend says "this is a perfect set up for manny to pinch hit." boy was it ever. fast forward to the bottom of the 6th inning. i look into the dug out and see manny getting his batting gear ready. he pounds on his chest and gets his helmet and walks to the on deck circle. bases loaded manny walks out to the box. dusty baker walks from the dugout and to the mound and makes a pitching change. now the crowd is going crazy. now with new pitcher ready manny takes to the box. one pitch, one swing, one pinch hit grand slam, one moment in time, what a moment to be at dodger stadium. he circles the bases and into the dug out and celebrates with his teammates and then the curtain call. enjoy this look into the game. leave comments.
