I have a friend who is Thai, and am nuts about her for last 4 years, but she is traditional Thai but I love her character and her culture in the USA, and want to learn Thai to be closer to her and win her over, but the dating process in thai is long, and am willing to wait for her if she will have me. Any advice? I liked your videos..

Thank you, I will practice. I got to China and Thailand quite a lot... I can speak some Mandarin, but seem to have trouble with the Thai language.

@KevUrbie i think if a ladyboy is too aggressive the best thing is be polite, nod your head.. keep moving.. and say" Pohm chaop Chene Krap". just means i like girls in their slang/joke.

@9kiko90
Sawatdee ka,
There are actually many "YOU" in Thai language. "Kun" is formal, "Ter" is less formal, but actually in real situation no man calls his girl "ter". Teenagers use the word "dtua-eeng" or call their loved ones by 'nick name'.
As for "I" ; chan is commonly used by women, some men use "chan" in the following situations;
[1] They are not straight
[2] They are straight, and use "chan" with VERY VERY close female friends or relative.
