This video includes a demonstration of basic green screen recording and editing using Adobe Premiere Elements 4 on a Windows XP computer.

Instructional Objective: After watching this video the learner will be able to use the Green Screen filter in Adobe Premiere Elements to add a new background to video recorded against a green screen.

The video includes the following information:
1. Basic green screen recording using green felt background and a Sony Handicam video camera on a tripod.
2. What it looks like when the green background has been replaced by an image.
3. Tutorial showing how to use the Green Screen Chroma Key filter in Adobe Premiere Elements 4.

  • is the green screen feature availiable on elements 3.0?

  • @OBINGOBLIN I think this is on most versions of Elements, but I don't know for sure about 3.0.

  • @WillyDano get some butcher paper from school, make sure it's big, fold it half (cause its' sort of see through), then tape it to your wall, and use it! :)

  • @timeknowsfilms There are Green Screen, Blue Screen and Croma Key settings on APE9. You need to look again in Effects. Did you load it all up using only Disk 1? The effects are on the second disk.
