Featuring Blue Road, Mauds, Cryan Shames, Ronnie Rice, Cruise Machine, Bob Abrams, Bev Perron, Steve Temkin, and more.
Musicians and friends gathered to mourn the death and celebrate the life of Mauds lead singer and founder Rogers, who died of cancer on Dec. 4. Four hours of music, videos, and photos celebrated the 60's legend of Chicago blue-eyed soul.
The evening featured Gary and Joan Gand's Blue Road band, with whom Rogers sang for the past four years, hosting and welcomed to the stage for this song past members of the Mauds (rhythm section and horns), Jim Pilster from the Cryan Shames on percussion (left) and Blue Road's Steve Nevets on vocals.
