How to clean a fence in the tropics and the importance of the task. This is the traditional way of cleaning fences that is practiced by local farmers. You can use a brush cutter or weeder and other machines but nothing beats the quality of using a machete for this job. It took me 22 days to clean 11.7km of fences on my own (6.4 km had not been cleaned for 4 years)

  • Thanks for the tip about keeping the cutting edge up. Perhaps now I won’t have to sharpen as frequently. I'm just above you in Costa Rica.
