In this tutorial I'll show you how to add vector text to a placed photoshop dcs2.0 file in illustrator. This is great tool for printers that want to combine vector text/art with a separated raster file. I also demonstrate how to preview your separations in adobe acrobat. Thanks for watching!

  • Hey Brian, i can't get my reggies to show up on every plate. I tried saving it as a symbol and even tried both types of symbols, movie clip and graphic, and it still didn't work, you got any tips for me man? You have the most informative video on this subject on the whole internet in my opinion. Thanks, get back to me please.

    did you use registration black? in the swatches it looks like a registration mark. choose that color and it will show up on every plate.
