Let's Play Pokémon Crystal - Part 126

Brock's been hanging out with Ash for far too long, and it shows. At this point in the game, I'm expecting all the gym leaders to use fully evolved Pokémon, and Brock only has two of them in his team of five. Gotta love him having three Rock/Grounds and two Rock/Waters, too. Aerodactyl and Steelix would've at least been nice to mix things up a bit... And then there's the one underling who proclaims his love for Rock-types for hours, then when battle time comes he only has a Sandslash.

By the way, does anyone hate real-life bugs as much as I do? Probably not, because I despise them with the fury of a thousand suns. And why be afraid of spiders, anyway? They're repulsive, yes, but they can't harm you. At all.

It's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make, because Onix is Suck type. Besides, look at Clair's rematch roster... three dragons out of six Pokémon. No excuse.

Rhyhorn wasn't even AT the evolution level when you fought it (I use them a lot, it is 42). But yeah, Onix sucks. You know that when it's Adamant Explosion fails to 1hko Alakazam. Yep, it doesn't kill Alakazam. Wow, that's weak.

As I've said before, with all the cheating Pokémon we've encountered, this should be a non-issue.

I was always a wimp around bugs. When I lived up north I swear, every freaking summer, a queen wasp would somehow find its way into our house. I would be up stairs on my computer and suddenly I would hear my mother shriek from across the house. I would come down see the damn thing and shriek myself. My dad would then come, shoot the thing with some bug killer and me and my mom would spend the rest of the day as nervous wrecks.

i can remember when i first got yellow. i first went to brock at leval 12/13. i lost then about 2 weeks later i went to brock with a leval 23 pikachu and won.

I kinda like the music for the now defunct Viridian Forest (Route 2). The feeling is like you have been here before 3 years ago, and now you're coming back to where you started. Aka. From Pewter City through Viridian Forest, through Route 2 and Viridian City, and lastly, through Route 1 and Pallet Town.

I agree. That remake of Viridian Forest is pretty sad. At least it's better in HG/SS.
