There is nothing that Camilla Duchess of Cornwall like better than mixing with the WI and similar groups, so the visit to Steeple Ashton, just over a stones throw from her Wiltshire home made for an enjoyable hour.

Her visit to the Wiltshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers in Steeple Ashton gave the Duchess a chance to weave and spin some of the English Wool her husband, The Prince of Wales, champions.

Another aspect of village life the Duchess campaigns for is the village shop, so before departing for another engagement in Chippenham, she popped into the community run store and added her signature to the visitors book.
