You are both arguing with extreme views, but I'd just like to say caring for one species does not mean neglecting another. I have donated to both the red cross bushfire appeal and Victoria wildlife. (and while is disagree with KidsWithGuns1992 i respect their opinion and would certainly not say they were a child of Satan)

You have a brain don't you? use it to understand that the fact that they have fur or walk using 4 feet DOES NOT MEAN they can not feel pain or have emotions. If you were them, i am sure you would beg for help. Use your intelligence to help and not to hurt others and to realize that animals in many situations are helpless and we should help them because we simply can.
