EMG X Comparison review

All the EMG X reviews I've seen are with a great guitar hooked up to a great amp and playing metal, but I got a Dean V Inferno hooked up to a Vox DA20 playing a different genre. And I compared it to my old pick ups so you can hear the differences. All in all, these are the best pick ups I ever heard.

The EMG´s are for every kind of music i´ve tried many styles and with the use of the guitars volume and amp settings EMG´s are extremly versatile :)

So how are these against, say, SD Blackout AHB-3's? I'm looking to replace my EMG 81/85 which I loathe and want to stay active.

@rp1986 HAHA its funny because this "shitty band" uses EMG 81's. And EMG 81's are NOT a metal pick up... just because most metal bands tend to all want to have the same tone they all use 81's which builds up hype for metal fans that play guitar. any pickup can be used for any genre. Be creative! you might be able to even get a cool sound using 81's for jazz and r&b. And just because you dont like a band, do not call them shitty. learn to love different genres. COHEED RULES!

The only issue i have with this is the CaC playing because that becomes the last think i hear and i lose your last sound bit. but after that you did i good job man.

Lol. Playing such a shitty bands music to demo EMG's. EMG's are a metal pickup... So why do you think most demoers use them for metal??

@rp1986 im making the point that they arent just for metal but if you wanna switch to a clean sound for maybe a bridge or a smooth intro, they would sound incredible
