This is a remix from 1997 of an early happy hardcore track from 1993. Sylistically and in terms of the structure, it's most akin to 1992 breakbeat hardcore, except for a faster tempo, but it borrows elements from '94/'95 jungle.
Personally this is my favourite version of the track. Wasn't a lot like this around when this one came out. Happy hardcore was all stompy, and jungle/dnb was moving away from the mashup Amens to the minimalist 2-step sound.
