This really wasn't that bad. She carried the whole song vocally by herself, and quite well, considering nowadays every dance act has loud backing vocals and stuff to drown the live vocals. Dancing wasn't too bad either. Her outfit was awful and the water was weird but there are far worse performances than this. Like all those 40 year old hipsters in nerd glasses that were whispering over a generic beat at the last awards...

I read about this on wikipedia and came to here expecting something really odd! She doesn't seem drugged or something, she just asks for water and hardly finds time to drink between lyrics! Plus she's able to dance and sing at the same time, which is what most singers cannot do today!

WTF?!! Her career tanked because she had some water?? Are you kidding me? It actually made the performance more real. No way was she coked up or anything. You can't bust out LIVE precision choreography PLUS sing and be high. Big deal made over zilch. Geez.

I don't know whats so odd about that, performers need to drink water to lubricate their throats, happens all the time, I have seen Edwin Starr ask for a can of coke while on stage, no issues with that.
