Ben Stein, in the new film EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed

Official Movie Site: www.expelledthemovie.com

His heroic and, at times, shocking journey confronting the world's top scientists, educators and philosophers, regarding the persecution of the many by an elite few.

In theatres near you, starting February 2008

Ben travels the world on his quest, and learns an awe-inspiring truth that bewilders him, then angers him and then spurs him to action!

Ben realizes that he has been Expelled, and that educators and scientists are being ridiculed, denied tenure and even fired for the crime of merely believing that there might be evidence of design in nature, and that perhaps life is not just the result of accidental, random chance.

To which Ben Says: "Enough!" And then gets busy. NOBODY messes with Ben.

  • Real scientists don't doubt that evolution has occurred and does occur. Religious nuts feel threatened because deep down they know that their beliefs are not founded in fact.

  • Wow. I can see how science has been expelled from this movie.

  • @ndrthrdr1 the number was mentioned in the video. I have homework assignment for you. I will give two days to complete the assignment. Where in the video was 1 over 10 to the 40,000th power mentioned? Show exact minute and seconds from the video. You will be graded and given extra points if you show good evidence. I teach at a local college.

  • @automatewithkorn Dawkins doesn't think that life came to Earth from another planet. He only acknowledged the possibility when Stein kept hammering away with his inane questions.

Why is this so difficult for you to grasp? Frantically looking for reasons to believe that you won't actually die and cease to exist?

  • @ndrthrdr1 Another theory to explain away theory of evolution? How about if we delve into Theory of Relativity to explain why Richard Dawkins is a Galactic Fool. Einstein says nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. If Dawkins life coming from another planet is true that Einstein would turn in his grave. But let's bring in Entropy. What idiot would mention abiogenesis without mentioning Entropy?

  • @automatewithkorn Where did you get those odds? Did you make them up, or are you simply repeating what someone else made up?

I know that Darwin's ideas were about evolution, not abiogenesis. Your assumption that I don't know this displays your lack of a firm grip on reality.

  • @ndrthrdr1 Please remove "believe" from your vocabulary and from any written material you have created past and present. Do not use the word in the future. Possible substitutes are "think" or "based on evidence." Now you are ready to begin the journey of becoming a true scientist. When you drink as sip of water, start your journey as true scientist with water test kit testing each drop. When you need to breathe, carry around oxygen canister since air might contain virulent material.

  • @ndrthrdr1 theory of evolution is not about how life began but based on darwin's empirical observations he wrote about how species proliferated after life began. Dawkins knows and has admitted on this and other video that he and many scientists acknowledges that a chance for a single celled organism to be created out of a junkyard is a 1 over 10 to the 40,000th power. Unfortunately you are one of many people who think Darwin explained accidental creation.

  • @automatewithkorn Of course I use the word "believe", I believe that the sun will continue to shine for the next year. I don't KNOW that with 100% certainty, but based on the best evidence available, it seems to be the justified to believe that it will.

Dawkins believes, based on the best evidence available, that life began here on Earth.

  • @ndrthrdr1 Was it you or was Dawkins who said "believes ..." To make matters worse, Richard is now a believer? How is that possible? Certainly Richard does not believe in anything. What anyone says something is possible, actually person is saying he is possibly wrong about the whole thing and he does not know anything. A true scientist or trained on true scientific methods, then the word, "believe," should be absent in his vocabulary. Do you find yourself saying "... believe..."?

  • @automatewithkorn Dawkins didn't say that life on Earth came here from other planets. Dawkins didn't say that he thought that life on Earth came from other planets. He only said, when pressed by Stein, that it was a possibility. Dawkins believes that life almost certainly began here. Stein used deception in his dishonest and misleading editing of the interview. Watch the unedited interview and you'll see that Stein is a weasel.
