  • Jeez - TATTOO - skin was very clever and I simply adore Betty - she is sooo bright! ROSE was such a genius hint when she was out of "normal" hints!!!

  • Betty White was playing Password just last night on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and the password was also "tattoo" - and the contestants had just as much trouble figuring it out!

  • Were people that dumb-downed? Really? It almost seems they didn't even use their imagination! I guess they were so very much programmed back then.If you watch more Password, you can see how more liberated people got.

  • This is very unusual....both celebrity players the same gender--and both "civilian" contestants cartoonists of well-known strips.

  • Rose! lol How ironically prophetic for Betty to say!

  • Betty cheated, but it was for charity :)

  • @fromthesidelines - Coincidentally, there's another connection in there (albeit indirectly related) besides the Bufferin...Miss Francis and Mr. Cotten had starred together on Broadway in the Martin Gabel-produced "Once More With Feeling," which ran in 1958-59.

  • At 4:14, "I got it when she said rose". BS. It's easy to say that when the answer was already given.

    What morons.

  • It occurs to me that when "What's My Line?" needed that one male guest panelist, no one ever called Allen Ludden. I think he would have been a good one.

  • Those two men heard ten clues among them drawing, skin, sailor, needle, and forearm. And they could not get tattoo!
