@kspr06 Chill... it was more or less a joke anyway :) I would not care too much about fluoride. I also live in an apartment and there are much more severe things to consider... like the noise-levels and pollution. I'm getting the hell out of here as soon as I can. It freaking sucks to live in this noisy city. I was looking for a water purifier, because forests are cheaper than most realties and after you drill a well you need a filtration system...

@SVKmellow wow i have never really thought of that one..........damn. You have changed my life, i will now proceed to drill throught the flats below me, then the 7 meter concrete slab holding the block up, through dirt and then the london Underground network just do "get a well" because SVKmellow told me.
Dude dont get me wrong but not everyone has the luxury of land and other resources due to living a city life.............thanks for the great suggestion anyway

Get a Katadyn Survivor 35
It's a reverse osmosis desalinator that can pump fresh water from sea water, urine, brackish water, water contaminated with heavy metals and toxin.
Available on Amazon and eBay. Cheap with additional preservatives for the unit to try it and store it for SHTF.
Imagine being able to extend your limited water supply by pumping fresh water from ocean or urine or even a super deep well with high mineral content.
And... it cleans itself, doesn't clog and mil-spec durable.
