Gitaroo Man - Zowie (Resurrection)

The final battle with Zowie over planet Gitaroo. This song starts to become filled with hard to hit action lines so I end up just mashing the button and hoping Zowie loses before I do. Overall a pretty cool finale for a great game. Also, while that cutscene before this level is just corny as hell, it's my favorite one in the game for being somehow awesome at the same time.

This game has to win awards for two categories: Most corniest game, and most interesting and original music. I can seriously say that the battles with Zowie and with Kirah were very awesome to listen to, and can be said to be better than some Battle of the Band finals I've seen.

They're much better when you can actually hear them on the soundtrack without my constant screw-ups, lol. I have the full soundtrack of the game just because it's that good. Playing the game is great, but listening to the music itself it something else entirely. I'll say again, no matter what genre, they managed to get me to like every single song this game had to offer, so props to Koei for the great work and awesome game.

I'm suprised at most of their lineup after this (Though they did make Elite Beat Agents which was a pretty cool game as well) consisting of mostly Dynasty Warriors and some other stuff I wasn't really interested in. If they made games like this more often I'd... Well... Buy their games more, lol.

I still stick to my theory that none of this ever really happened and it was just going on in U-1's mind. His way of getting over his confidence issues. Would be why the people on Planet Gitaroo look like his schoolmates. Specially Kirah and Zowie.

It's a game, it isn't supposed to make sense, especially a crazy game like this. It's very easy to just say it's going on in the character's mind because something doesn't make sense, like how Link travels through time, Mario jumping on turtles and using mushrooms to grow huge, and Sonic's irritating-as-hell personality.

It's a video game, we play them to escape from reality and quell the boredom, if anything it's just going on in our minds and on our TVs.

To be fair, this is a very hard final boss.

I've only ever managed to defeat him once. BARELY! The final minute of the song always finishes me off. Each time I attempt him now, he constantly pwns me.

Then again, I was playing the psp version. I'm getting the Ps2 version soon and I'm going to see if it's any better to pull off.

@Darkstar263 I found the game ten times easier on the psp, but that might be because I can take it anywhere and pratice far too much. I could never get past Mojo King Bee (master play) on the ps2, but did it with a few attempts on the psp.

Anyone know what causes the beginning attack notes to change? I find if I dick around with the controller, I'll get this pattern around 50% of the time.
