  • just go to terminal and

    sudo apt-get install openshot

  • @Yldii yes but this is for the older version when openshot was not included.. look at the date

  • what files work best?

  • @eLIJAhandJoSh this is an old video if your using ubuntu 10.04 or linux mint 9 and above openshot is included in the package manager just install it from there.

  • I have a bit of a problem. When I want to install it with package installer, it says this : Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: python-mlt2|python-mlt|openshot-mlt

    Help anyone ?

  • @metalshadowmario4 that is because your installing openshot before you install its dependency. install the dependency FIRST. then openshot. by teh way if you are using ubuntu 10.04 or linux mint 9 .. openshot is aready in teh package manager no need to go and install it from there. but if not. then install teh dependency first.

  • One question. I have a triple boot for Ubuntu 11.10, Windows 7, and Windows 8 (Developer Preview). I use Sony Vegas as my primary editing software. Is this kind of the same as Vegas?

  • Whack! Show us what it does next time

  • ROBOTTTT

  • Thank you for the heads up. Btw do you do these kinds of tutorials alot? (I dont but) whenever Im doing a speaking bit (in person, or in your case, on youtube) I find that, even if i know what im going to say, writing it out helps alot. It helps you to stay on track, you repeat things less, and theres generally less filler. Again thanks for the heads up, and the best of luck to you with your videos!

  • i tryed this software out and i do not recomend it

  • You Can also download it from ubuntu software center if you use ubuntu 10.10

  • is this anywhere near as bad as kdenlive?

  • oo looking nice! thx for showing, have installed it now :)

  • @Raja221 Oh, ok....
