This is the fifth part of an interview by Jules Evans with Jean Vanier, the founder of the Arche communities, at his home in Trosly-Breuil on September 6 2010.

Vanier is a philosopher in the fullest sense - a man who lives his philosophy, through the Arche (or 'ark') communities he founded, in which volunteers live with mentally handicapped people. He is a Christian philosopher, and also a writer on Aristotle.

This interview is part of my book, Philosophy for Life and Other Dangerous Situations.
