.308 recoil ain't that bad guys, even with a short barrel. That foregrip is keeping his muzzle down too.
Shoot my old German Mauser or my lever-action .45-70 and tell me that the .308 hurts your shoulder....

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is an m14a1 with the pistol grip vertical grip and heavier barrel. They added these features to make full auto fire more controllable
