filme afghani panje asr, ba kargardani Samira Makhmalbaf (iranian) At Five in the Afternoon (Persian: Panj é asr) is a 2003 film by Iranian writer-director Samira Makhmalbaf. It tells the story of an ambitious young woman trying to gain an education in Afghanistan after the defeat of the Taliban. The title comes from a Federico García Lorca poem and is a tale of flourishing against the odds.

At Five in the Afternoon was the first film to be shot in Kabul after the NATO invasion. It was an international co-production between the Iranian company Makhmalbaf Productions and the French companies Bac Films and Wild Bunch.

The film premiered at Cannes in 2003 and was awarded the Jury Prize and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury.

Samira's 14-year old sister Hana Makhmalbaf made a documentary about the making of the film, entitled Joy of Madness (Lezate divanegi). It documents Samira's trials and tribulations whilst trying to persuade people in Kabul to take part in her film. As a teenager, Hana was able to amass a lot of digital video footage unnoticed.Samira Makhmalbaf Afghanistan female president movie Iran France Agheleh Rezaie Veil Dari Afghan, Afghani, Afghanistani, Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Qandahar, Mazar-e-Shareef, Mazar-i-Sharif, Mazar-e-Sharif, Mazar-i-Shareef, Panjshir, Panjshair, Panjshare, Panjsher, Badakhshan, Takhar, Konara, Konarha, Konduz, Kunduz, Konduz, Qunduz, Qonduz, Qundoz, Baghlan, Kapisa, Laghman, Nangarhar, Ningarhar, Balkh, Samangan, Parwan, Kabol, Jowzjan, Bamyan, Bamian, Wardak, Logar, Lowgar, Paktia, Paktya, Faryab, Fariab, Ghor, Ghowr, Oruzgan, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Paktika, Badghis, Zabul, Zabol, Farah, Helmand, Nimruz, Nimroz, Taloqan, Ishkashim, Ishkashem, Khanabad, Jalalabad, Hindu Kush, Charikar, Jabal Seraj, Jabol Seraj, Jabal-us-Seraj, Khost, Khowst, Andkhoie, Andkhoye, Maymana, Maymanah, Meymana, Meymanah, Gardayz, Gardaiz, Gardeyz, Ghazna, Faizabad, Fayzabad, Feyzabad, Balkh, Qala-e-Now, Qala-ye-Now, Qala Now, Chaghcharan, Sheberghan, Shebirghan, Asadabad, Zaranj, Aibak, Aybak, Sar-e Pol, Sar-i Pol, Sari-i-Pol, Sar-e-Pol, Sar-e Pul, Sar-e-Pul, Sari-i-Pul, Sar-i Pul, Qalat, Nooristan, Nuristan, Hazarajat, Hazaristan, Hari Rud, Hare Rud, Harirud, Shindand, Shendand, Khairabad, Kheyrabad, Bagram, Sher Khan, Shir Khan, Lashkarga, Lashkar Gah, Gizab, Gezab, Asmar, Pul-e Khomri, Pul-e-Khomri, Pul-e Khumri, Pul-e-Khumri, Pul-i-Khumri, Pul-i Khumri, Pol-e Khomri, Pol-e-Khomri, Pol-e Khumri, Pol-e-Khumri, Pol-i-Khumri, Pol-i Khumri, Salang, Gereshk, Khyber, Khaibar, Khaiber, Khybar, Wakhan, Pamir, Aryana, Ariana, Khorasan, Khorassan, Khurasan, Khurassan, Aryan, Arian, Bactria, Bactrian, Samanid, Saman, Ghaznawid, Ghaznavid, Saffarid, Tahirid, Ghorid, Ghurid, Tajik, Tadjik, Tadzhik, Uzbek, Pashtoon, Pashtun, Pushtun, Pushtoon, Pathan, Hazara, Turkman, Islam, Hanafi, Abu Hanifa, Sunni Hanafi, Sunni-Hanafi, Shia, Shiite, Ismaili, Wahabi, Wahhabi, Deoband, Mujahideen, Mujahedeen, Mujahid, Mujahed, Jihad, Jehad, Jamiat-e-Islami, Jamiat-e Islami, Jamiat-I-Islami, Jamiat-I Islami, Shora-e Nezar, Shura-e Nezar, Shora-e-Nezar, Shora-I-Nezar, United Front, United National and Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Masood, Ahmed Shah Masood, Burhanuddin Rabbani, Taliban, Taleban, Hekmatyar, Hikmatyar, Hekmatiar, Hikmatiar, Ismael Khan, Ismail Khan, Dostum, Mohseni, Akbari, Akbary, Zaher Shah, Zahir Shah, Mulla Omar, Mullah Omar, Osama, Ossama, Usama, Laden, Ladin, Six-plus-Two, Rome process, Rome peace, Loya Jirga, Afghan Grand National Assembly, Afghan Grand Assembly, Cyprus, Cyprus-Tehran, Jarir, Jareer, Gender Apartheid, Ethnic Cleansing, Lakhdar Brahimi, Francesc Vendrel, Afghan news, Afghanistan news, Afghan media, Afghanistan media, Afghan newspaper, Afghanistan newspaper
