The funny thing is that the core Republicans who would "buy" it, don't even need to be sold on it. They don't care about gaffes or past voting records. They believe all the shit McCain shovels in each of his ridiculous stump speeches.

The bottom line is, many many Republicans are terrified of Obama (I don't know if it's race based or fear of some Muslim influence [as if that equates evil]), and fear is irrational, so trying to appeal through logic is useless.

Vote to privatize healthcare and education so only the rich can afford it! Vote to never give diplomacy a chance and instead resort to pre-emptive war! Vote to drag our nation into yet another conflict (Iran) that we can't afford and then lower taxes on top of it to drag the nation even further into debt! Cenk Uygur was a Republican until 2003, and I've recently heard him criticize Dems for tabling impeachment and for backing down on FISA, but other than that you may be right. He certainly makes his attacks on Republicans more personal.
