there were dissappointments with how the LGU played out the Kalibo situation in the media. LGU officials kept on saying that everything appears to be OK, that damages were only minor, when in fact it was a DEVASTATION.

LGU officials downplayed the destruction reasoning that they are trying to protect the "good" image of boracay. I say BS!!! We do not need politicking when people are dying with no food on their stomachs.

Ham an it malabo? hasta makaron owa gid ako it balita kanday Nanay sa Kalibo perming tawag ako sa landline owa it connection,owa man abi sanda it cellphone indi kantigo mag operate,owa man it enternet.Di ko malaman kong paano sila makontak.Nasa Magdalena sanda banda di ko alam kung ano na ang nangyari banda duon.Importanti nagpadaea kami it konsumo pero di rin namin alam kung natanggap rin .Hayyy buhay Pinas walang asenso.

it's so sad nga, can hardly recognize the place na. mabuhay eon akong owa kauli and i was excited to go home sometime this year pa nmn, shocking tlga. my heart goes out to our kababayan, sana walang hoarding etc. at sana di na mangyari uli. tapos na ang bagyo pero abo pang gakinahanga-ean it bulig, no water, no electricity. to those who are watching this, maybe we can ask our officemates for help, coordinate with the HR or something. my sympathy to my kababanwa..it happened again after 30 years...i hope everybody will learn how to prepare now..as we did long time ago...we have can goods, rice and water...and we share it to our neighbors...i hope naga iral ro atong bayanihan sa makarang sitwasyon ag uwa naga baligya it mataas nga presyo..
