Sanskrit is the only language available that has the letters and sounds to make up the mantra. No other language can meet the power and energy of the true divine sound.

Transcription
Is Sanskrit the only language for Mantras?

Chanting mantras means that you will always be protected. Sanskrit has powerful sounds used in recitation of mantras that other languages lack. Sanskrit has 52 vowels and consonants and their combination makes very powerful sounds. It is a mystery how these powerful sounds were discovered but we are fortunate to have them available to us. A mantra is a combination of sound and this combination is divine. While you chant a mantra everyone around you will be protected.

In Sanskrit each letter of the alphabet has a meaning. No other language has this. This is another reason why a mantra cannot be in any other language. Now, when different sounds with different meanings are put together these sounds affect the mind, thoughts, and the body. A mantra is divine. For example, when a, u and m are combined it becomes AUM. AUM is the root of all languages. A stands for Brahma, U stands for Vishnu, and M for Shiva. AUM is the equivalent of God the divine.

Other languages may have rhythm, harmony and poetic sounds. Sanskrit has all of that plus more. Know that when mantras are recited the mind, body, and thoughts are affected.

  • @Herumachis

You have two options in life:

    1. Try everything. Hope for the best.

    2. Go with what is known to work, and know what the outcomes will be.

Mantra in Sanskrit is option 2. Mantra in other languages is option 1. Listen to what the man says: each letter has a meaning in itself. Meanings (words) are therefore made up of meanings. It's an incredibly deep process, which cannot be mimicked by any other script/language in existence.

    Stop being so close-minded! :p

  • Humans were really advanced way back, but maybe we got wiped out and have to rebuild.

  • @musicman45 Finding out things will not help, till now we don't know the exact root for all languages, its just 'sounds'. Sanskrit is structured sound science. but why all other languages faded away, nobody knows. its all about vibration of the sound 'aa' 'uu' 'mm' between these three vibrations all the vowels have derived from the belly to head.

  • @2285utubej @2285utubej Is it true that i have to get the mantra "om kleem krishnaya namah" from a guru before i do it? Becuz i've been doin it for a while.

  • @Herumachis But none other language is as powerful and perfect as sanskrit and it is so refined that its the language of the gods. Its like if you ask for something from someone who knows only chinese in english then he will not understand you and will not give you what you want. and thats why mantra (if u chant it you can get what your heart desire) should be in sanskrit and thats how god will hear you, understand you and give you what your heart desires!

  • @Herumachis I know right u really cant be in a box..its all about stay out the box and being open minded.

  • @harieyutube they all derived from a common ancestor, but not from sanskrit. Studies have concluded that Sanskrit, Latvian, and Lithuanian are among the oldest Indo-European languages, but they did not come from Sanskrit.

  • Sanskrit/Lithuanian:Devas-Dievas>God,abhi-abi>both,aswa-asva>horse,javah-javai>crop,ratha-rata>wheels,dina-diena>day,rasa-rasa>dew,sana-sena>long ago,svanta-sventa>holy,visur-visur>everywhere,vrkas-vilkas>wolf,antaras-antras>the second one,virsus-virsus>above,duris-duris>door,bhanga-banga>wave,bhuti-buti>to be,exist,dehti-degti> to burn,dhurti-durti>to stab,kada-kada>when,bhalto-balta>white,kas-kas>what,prabodhana-prabudimas>awakening...

  • Lithuanian and Latvian are the closest languages to Sanskrit. For example some Lithuanian words are exactly the same as in Sanskrit and they have not changed for at least 5 000 years a thing. These are: Viras (a man),Avis (a sheep),Dhumas (a smoke),Sunus (a son),Padas (a sole)...
