funny and random at the same time but it felt like eric mccoo was at penn state for a long time cuz i remember i watched him play at state when i was 7 and it felt like a decade when he finished when i was 11.

Seriously, though. The most impressive thing about this win is that it took place after Matt Senaca was benched in favor of Zack Mills, who was awesome pre-injury. After getting rid of Senaca, Penn State almost ran the table in the Big 10, and finished just shy of bowl eligibility.
Illinois looks like they'll win the Big 10 in 2008, but I don't forsee a collapse like what happened 2002-2006.

well in fairness, we have only played 3 times since, with two of those games taking place in Happy Valley. Let's see how things shake out this year.
