  • You should use electrical tape, otherwise it has the chance of starting a fire.

  • I never understood why some people watch videos just so they can bash them...don't they have anything better to do? Good job! This was helpful (and I agree it should always be electrical tape for proper insulation, but you basically said that in the video).

  • Thanks. I had a pretty good idea of what I was supposed to do, and am just on youtube to double check. Good video. In the future, I would use a video editor to FF through repetitive parts.

  • Thanks for posting your video. My bunnies chewed my phone charger and I fixed it right up without a problem. Never done it before, so thanks for teaching me. I did use electrical tape instead of scotch.

  • Thanks for the information and the laugh, I hope this foreigner does f*** up!

  • thx!

  • Very informative! Thank you!!:)

    Keep Posting!

  • Why not just use some inexpensive butt splice tubes which you can get at the local hardware store which you can then cover in electrical tape (or if you really want to go crazy some heat shrink tubing). The tubes make for a much cleaner splice connection and are insulated (if you purchase the insulated ones)
