The Canagal

This video was created using the Spore Creature Creator. this creature is called the Canagal (ca-na-gal) i did this for a geography project at my school we had to make our own creature so i thougt this program would be perfect hope you enjoy XD this is that story i did about it see if you can guess the eco zone^^
The Cangal has evolved over time to adapt to its surroundings, tan and green skin to blend in with its surroundings wail the mahogany legs and arms to match the soils of its land .The Cangal looks as thou it may have been smaller due to its wings but, surprisingly they can use the wings to go over short distances (about 10 feet pure flap/jump). The Cangals height is to see over the long grasses of its eco zone and its large size to protect its self from the -15 degree winters. Although it has short legs it can run at a good speed thou the wheat field of the eco zone. The long horns on it head and tail are to protect itself .They are omnivores but do not eat meat. Their diet consists of grasses; fruit and insects. They eat fruits from some bushes and tree like Saskatoon berry bush berries, and choke cherries. Mushrooms are a delicacy. They get insects from the soil by taking large mouthfuls of dirt and spiting it out plucking any bugs from the mix like the German cockroach, grubs and grasshoppers. These creatures however, are as pesky as locusts for a heard of them can take out a whole field within 3 hours. Their call sounds like the loon and sometimes is confused with it. Its catlike ears and eyes are very sensitive and they are nocturnal creatures but have been know to come out during the day. The soils of their eco zones are rich and the glaciers have flattened the land. The only real threats are the black bear and humans but, they have been taken on by packs of coyotes. Humans hunt them for the ruby like bone that grown on their chest due to extra carbon located in their breast bones, the carbon making it almost diamond like but tinted red due to the fact that blood dose run thou it and the ones that are manufactured are dyed different colors. The ivory on their tails and heads it also taken because of the rare traits. The head one is like a tusk of an elephant where as the tail one it that of a narwhals. Efforts are being made to protect these animals by putting them in conservatories. Water is plentiful because of the 250-700 ml of rain that falls but, the climate is mostly dry due the lack of ocean affect and the mountains to the east block most of the rain .The eastern areas are more wet then the western parts. This animal has not been as affected by the habitat destruction then other animals as they like the large wheat fields of Canadas bread basket. We hope this animal will survive to be seen by future generations.
