It is now important for us to begin to start thinking in terms of self reliance instead of just being prepared for emergencies.

  • I am trying to get things together to make sure that my family is prepared, but have no own that I know in my area that is of the same mindset. I am not a LDS member. I live in eastern Nebraska. Do you have any suggestios or ideas on people or groups in my area to contact?

  • @csmith90able You don't have to be LDS to use the Family p preparedness center. If you go to LDS.org you can find the meetinghouse nearest you and give them a call and ask the person who is in charge of preparedness to give you a call. Tell them you're not interested in being Mormon, just in help being prepared...You'll be surprised! You should also check out Yahoo group survivalretreat

  • Personally, I'm not a Morman but I do appeciate the fact that you guys believe in being prepared and self reliant.. Great video!

  • @MrEhud77 Hey thanks for the kind words. I hope this helped. If there's any Q's you may have please ask.

  • @shampoovta sorry beginning. LOL,.. bad spell check bad!

  • I remember there was a news story in the last of the Clinton years some solders said an angel came to them and said hard times were coming. It would seem to be on going and endless but then all at once it would stop and life will be better than ever before.

For some reason I never forgot that news story. I thought it was strange for a supposed angel to appear before solders. Now in 2010 I understand. This isn't the end of the world it is the begging of a better future.
