My nephew was sitting in his room listen to records, yes 33 1/3 vinyl records!! I recorded a couple of songs so that anyone who has never known the pleasure of owning a record player, could experience it here on the world wide web. Turn Up Your Sound So You Can Experience Every Pop, Hiss, and Crackle. Don't worry if sound only comes out of one speaker, the record player is of course monaural. Dig It!!

  • Remember vinyl? For people like me in their 30s, it never went away. I still get new and used records to this day. Between CDs and records, I prefer the record.

  • @fatcatbuzz That's awesome! How big is your collection?

  • nice record player! i collect old players myself too.

  • I really like the monaural sound, and the hissing and popping made by old records. I guess it reminds me of simpler times.

  • It's too bad that most kids these days will never know the joy of records. But, I have heard they are making a come back. But, for me vinyl never went away. Long live records!!!

  • @Greywulf2112 I have about 5000 records. The only bad thing is that I live in Korea now and all my records are back in my parent's attic in St. Paul, Minnesota. I've been collecting records since I was a kid in the late 70s and 80s. I still get new releases believe it or not. I just bought a couple, but had to send them home. I can't wait to move back to the USA in about a year or two because I miss my guitars, tape and recording equipment, and my records. Oh yeah, and family sometime. hahaha

  • love the popcorn in it

  • I will definately find out for you. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

  • Do me a favor. Ask your nephew if it was the Queen's album called "The Game" and if he had any problems playing it cause I'm wondering if I got a shotty ablum. :( And I like Queen. Watching a working copy of the album play is like a kick in the nads to me. T_T
