I've nursed my grand mother through this disease from mild forgetfulness to the pout of having to move her into care. It's heartbreaking. Best wishes to those fighting for a cure

My grandmother suffered this disease for 8 years. This is the most screwed up disease out there. It was heartbreaking watching my grandmother suffer this and I hate knowing other families are going through this too. For all you who have a loved one who has this horrible disease, god bless you.

Great overview here. One recent figure suggests we need 50,000 AD volunteers for these trials and this number is AFTER the vetting the process. Simply put, scientists need to start with roughly a million people, to narrow it down to 50,000 subjects who qualify. Daunting numbers, so we definitely need to get more people involved in these trials.

You might be reluctant to try this because of its taboo but if you live in a state with medical marijuana legalized then you should definitely try it. Marijuana can help remove the plaque that causes Alzheimer's disease quite effectively.
