Foggy Mountain Breakdown

Yeah, I can recall my very first video here, two years ago... when I barely knew how to strum them banjo strings, and I promised I would someday upload Foggy Mountain Breakdown... that day is today! Okay, it's not exactly the real Scruggs version, but rather a simpler, 49 measure long version, but it's still Foggy Mountain Breakdown, darn it!

First, yes, my banjo is tuned. I checked it just before recording the video. However, the strings are nearly five months old, as I have been broke for quite a while. Also, this ain't no fancy banjo, but the cheapest my money could buy. So, if it don't sound that awesome, please y'all, cut me some slack, alright? I have also made a couple of mistakes and I'm falling 80 bpm behind on the metronome. According to my Tabledit software, I'm at about 250 bpm right now. I need to get to 320 on that song. Well, eventually, I reckon I might could. But heck, I've been waiting two darn years to upload this here song!!! So, that's as good as it's gonna get for now. Hope that despite all that, y'all can still appreciate this little homemade tune.

Constructive critics from y'all experienced pickers out there are more than welcome. A novice needs all the help he can get. @TheBanjoHenry No problem sharing this with you, my pleasure. However it would be hard to share a link with you, as I downloaded this at the Banjo Hangout website years ago. They have more versions of Foggy Mountain than anything and it would be hard to find which one is this one here. It's still there, but I'd have to download them all in order to find out.

Nice MS keep pickin' I just started the banjo a couple of months ago. Playing FMB not at that speed quite yet but workin on it. Hopefully, I will be adding some to my u tube soon.
