*clears throat* Alright, where should I start? Maybe on the 11th of July 2010, the day six members of FSS decided to take up a 'little' side project with that glorious song. Amy had the idea to make a MEP with old Anime, since many of us grew up watching them and nowadays you can hardly find them on any videos, even though some of them are spectacular and way more amazing than what is aired today. Song and Anime had to be from 1999 or older. Now, 11 months, countless of part changes and splits, dozens of betas, private messages and PEOPLEGETYOURASSESUPICANTDEALWITHTHISANYMORE swearings later - WE'RE FINALLY DONE.

I don't think I have to say anything about why 'Zombie' is so amazing. Most of you might know it, even though it is very old - it is just beyond words, and one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. When I watched the official music video for the first time, I started crying, my body was trembling. It was as if all happiness and naivete about the world had been suddenly blown away. The song was originally written for the Northern Ireland conflict - it's about civil war, fighting, bombs, torn families, sadness, terror, nameless sacrifices, innocent victims - death.
We tried to portray all these different aspects in the MEP, even though all the Anime are very different and I hope we were able to do this song justice.

i want to thank everyone involved in this project. You are amazing. Thank you so much for making this possible and keeping up with me, i know i'm not always easy to deal with. I love you guys *hearts*

I still haven't commented even though I rewatched it a bunch of times *doom* I just can't come up with a comment that could describe all this epicness ;_; All the work DEFINATELY shows off, it was like you were there and could feel all the sadness and agony, it was almost scary Dx It really showed the different stages of war, and the transitions *__* I still love the idea and we worked it out perfectly! I'm so happy you didn't give up Anna, you can enjoy the end result to your whole heart :3

I just got a nifty iPod and was trying it out on YouTube vids and noticed some of my fav vids including this one won't play because the creator of the vid doesn't allow playback on mobile devices such as iPod I'm quite sad thought you should know

I have listened to this song numerous times and not once did the horror get to me, until today. I was so afraid even to blink because i thought i would miss something important. This is beautiful, terrifying, full of horror, sadness it really shows the depth of each anime and the song just accentuates it. Truly a masterpiece

Considering there's only been two visual things to make me cry in my lifetime (the very first Air Bud movie and then another I forget), I was pretty surprised to find myself tearing up while watching this mep. It was very well done, and you managed to capture not only the essence of the song, but also the beauty and destruction that war brings. This is definitely one of your better videos, but I believe you all grow with each video created. I look forward to your next one. Thank you!
