This is Bernice, our latest foster. She's a Treeing Walker coon hound, and she is being sponsored by GEPDA. She was picked up as a stray in the Bay Area, most likely dumped after she could no longer breed. She is a sweet soul. Read her story her:

My boyfriend and i live together, and we have been looking for a dog. and we went to the Humane Society.... and we found the cutest most loving Treeing Walker Coonhound... she is beautiful, i think we are going tonight to get her =]

I love my Walker more than life itself. He is the baby of the house. We got him from the shelter. He loves bye-bye and his family. And don't mention bye bye around him, or you'll have a howling madman running through the house.
