Sabine Anton, who has spent a lifetime as a broadcast journalist and documentarian, can bring your family's story to life. In her illustrious career, Anton has interviewed leaders from myriad fields, from business (Donald Trump) to politics (Mayor Michael Bloomberg) to actors and celebrities (Bruce Willis, Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere). She brings these interviewing skills to her documentaries, helping her subjects recall events long forgotten. Coming to New York City over a decade ago, Anton became a reporter and producer for RTL, Europe's market-leading television network. Anton's expertise has been recognized by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and she proudly serves as a judge for the International EMMY Awards.

The Process
During an initial meeting, we'll discuss your expectations and ideas for the biography. We will also review old photographs and home videos on 8mm or VHS—don't forget to source photos and videos from other family members! Actual filming time may take between 1 -- 5 days, depending on the length of the film. During that time we will conduct interviews of everyone included in the biography in a comfortable environment. We can also augment the film with scenes taken of the client revisiting old haunts where key moments in their life took place. Contextual footage from news and historical archives will be added to enhance the story, provide a background of the era during which the client lived and show how historical moments and time's progress impacted their lives. Music underscores the narrative and provides network-quality impact to the video biography. Clients will have a chance to screen the proposed film and make any final adjustments before we burn the DVDs. The date of delivery will be determined when the contract is signed. Additionally, everyone on the production team will sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure your privacy.

Genealogy Research
Many clients want to know more about their family history beyond the memories of their living family members. Family histories are a fantastic collection of names, events and historical commentary on a particular family group: Packed with useful information, including images of immigration and census reports, they can give context and meaning to the genealogical lines flowing through their family. With geological, biographical, religious and governmental information, clients have an educated perspective of the environment and geo-political factors that shaped the lives of their ancestors.

Film and Book Packaging (additional -- request pricing)
The DVD is packaged in a costume-designed book to reflect the over-arching themes of your piece and can include the family tree, genealogy research on CD Rom and many photos not used in the film. This way, family members will have their own complete set of information in the form of a book.
