-From, "I MALAMONDO" (Italy, 1964)
"This documentary looks at strange behaviors and practices in Europe, including nude skiing in Switzerland, hot-butchering in Italy, and an orgy in a graveyard."
-imdb.com
This is 'the Great western theme that got away'. Done at the beginning of Ennio's film career, the same year as his first western (A FISTFULL OF DOLLARS), it has all the hallmarks already: reverb surf guitar, a tonal chorale, a landscape melody, and that brilliant Spanish horn.

Ace. Really like the Catherine Spaak vocal one too, with that fantastic trumpet break in it.
