i got hooked around episode 20 had to force myself through other episodes i would never tell my friends because their kind of close minded so they would hate it but your in collage and its true bleach is ending soon so not sure if now is a good time to pick it up even though its still a couple of years so if you feel you feel like you might be intrested try going to around episode 20 see how you like it and make sure you start from the begining

Just watch or read till the Soul Society Arc. Ignore the rest.

i would start at the soul society arc it just gets so bad ass after that but in my opinion the filler was shit so i would skip all that some of the newest bleach isnt all that great with the full bring arc but this final one looks like it could be good

Sawyer7mage i reccomend you watch bleach, the first 13 episodes are like just an introduction of who the characters are and thier powers but once it enters the soul society arc it gets REALLY GOOD! and even after the soul society arc the vizards/arrancar arc is just friggin awesome especially towards the end of the arrancar arc when they last 3 espadas take down practically half of the soul society captains lol...my older bro got me into bleach When i saw episode 45 uryu vs kurotsuchi

personaly I like bleach some people probobly dont like it because it is pretty confuzing and a littel hard to fallow but at first because of that I stoped watching then I retryed I and ceep on watching and now I cot up with the series and I like it more. (sorry for the spelling)

I say you should consider it. I liked the characters, I liked the sword-fighting/techniques/batt­les, and I think the story has a nice mix of action and humor and plot development and romance. One of the main things that kept me hooked on BLEACH (haha, that sounds like I'm some drug addict) is that Tite Kubo's art has gotten progressively better over the years. His art style is definitely amazing (and the anime does a pretty good job reproducing it). So, in point, I say give the series a chance.

Here are the main things about bleach. Shinigami and Hollows. Hollows feed on spirits and souls, especially spirits with high power. Shinigami eliminate hollows with swords that transform into a release state in order to protect society. A guy named ichigo gets shinigami powers. He gets training and masters sword transformation and kicks hollow ass. The best arc ever is saving rukia arc. There are also arrancar and vizard. Arrancar are hollows that obtain shinigami powers. Vizard are vice versa
