Quads on Two meters are really amazing. Thanks for another great video on Ham Radio... But you have to keep the weight down and Ice loading. A little lighter version of the TWO Meter Quad with plans that can be down loaded in PDF are on Hamuniverse under WX9DX Quad posted in 2007.

@raypsi More like 1.3. In part 6 of this video I connect the antenna to a SWR analyzer and you can see the results. 73 :)

hello my name is andrew and i was wondering if you could email me a list of how long you cut the pipe for this i use ca2 on my cb will this work?
andrewwirenut 5 months ago
@andrewwirenut Sorry no. This antenna is for the 2 meter amateur radio band (144-148 MHz). A cubical quad antenna for the CB (27 MHz) would be a much larger antenna and would be constructed differently. I will be doing a video on CB antennas soon. 73

What gauge wire did you use? Sorry for my elementary question, I am new ham.

@user8542 It's 14 gauge. Wire size is discussed in part 2. Please watch all 6 parts if you would like to learn how to make this antenna. :)
