I remember watching this kid 4-5 years ago on YouTube. Haven't seen him since until now. Last time I saw him he was a little kid. He has natural talent for music.

Your son is the same age as me and has passed me greatly in talent and technique. I would love to see him perform some songs from the Cavaliers, just a thought. :D

I think what most impresses me about Jay is that he isn't just focused in one area of percussion or music in general. More so now than probably ever, you see kids solely focused on marching percussion and have no care to branch out and enjoy the many other facets of percussion. I love how well rounded Jay is, that's how I was brought up as a percussionist/musician. It's great to see.

@MrJhjackson I believe it is. The audience was waiting when we got there so there was a rush to set him up to play. He, nor did I, have time to really notice what he was playing on.
