This is my Tesla coil running on a pig at Nottingham (UK) 2010 Gaussfest / Teslathon. Most of the streamers from this coil always go up-wards, and so they were mostly hitting the ceiling (out of camera view) with 7 to 8 foot strikes. The strike rod was at 6.5 foot.
SRSG is a 10 inch rotor with Tu electrodes running at 3000rpm. It uses a John Fraeu phase controller.

although were both striking the same distance i cant help but feel your sparks look much bigger
i think its because my topload is so big and it makes my streamers look smaller when in fact theyre the same
