Nissan recently gave us a sneak peek of a prototype version of their upcoming fully electric vehicle. We had Nissan Chief Product Planner Mark Perry answer some of our questions.
That's a stupid idea. Why not make the solar panels charge the batteries and the batteries run the house. It's only a waste of efficiency converting electricity to hydrogen and back to electricity again. Fuel cells really only useful for increasing the range of electric vehicles.
Until they put batteries in it that can charge in under 30 minutes, and fast charge infrastructure, I wont buy one.

the guy also runs his combustion engine car on hydrogen. but i think he warms up the car on gasoline first like diesel engines before using bio fuel.

they once showed a guy who is running his house on a mix of solar, battery, and fuel cell.
the solar charged the batteries, once the batteries are full the solar panels create hydrogen and is stored in tanks.
when the batteries are drained at night the fuel cell goes to work and starts using the hydrogen to create electricity for the house. amazing eh?
