p.s. I am glad that more people in Hong Kong are listening to Chinese music nowadays. During my childhood time in Hong Kong, everyone was into Elvis and Beetles. I was looked upon as one of those "old antique" youngsters. But fortunately there was a amature chinese music group called "WungKong Chinese Orchestra" which I belonged to and enjoyed immensely every weekend. Don't know this group still exist though ?!

Thank you so much for sharing all this great music. I am not Chinese, but fell in love with Chinese music as a student of Chinese language. My first cassette tape had a collection of pre-Cultural Revolution recordings of a variety of folksongs and traditional instrumentals. The rich variety of Chinese music is really great! Keep sharing! Especially older performers so rarely seen or heard! So precious!
