hi mikek, is it safe to travel by this metro from airport to syntagma?  in the middle of night ? since your flight come in very late?

of course it's safe to travel with metro. don't worry!!

Athens is safe city!! let me inform u that metro line is until 23:35 and starts at 6:35. but there are out of the airport 4 central buses lines, 24h a day, to take u to u destination. what time u flight will be arrived? from where??

the olympics did wonders for transport round athens; i take most of my holidays in greece as the people are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. i feel at home there.

It's only empty because it's going to the airport. It's normally packed everywhere else.

this metro is at the three final stations and goes to the airport..that's why it is empty! this metro in the center of athens is full
