I was skeptical the first time I watched this, thinking it was typical romance anime. but after getting to the Fuko arc my opinion has changed. I never seen a main character with so much heart
In Afterstory it got a lot better. Tomoya started to look mature and shonen elements such fighting and brotherhood got implemented. it proceeded to adult life. but when it got to the Ushio arc, it got me crying. Clannad is all about love, family, and forgiveness, something many anime shows lack

However i would have liked to see an ending where Tomoya would have gone for the shy-genius we know as Kotomi.

Clannad is just so powerful,it could make a cold-hearted person cry. The storyline , the character, the music and everything else makes it so touching it feels like my heart is filled with sadness.

Clannad has the most beautiful storyline. I've never cried as much as when watching this wonderful anime.
