A short film written and edited by Tony LeTigre, starring Tony, Justin Rouse and Emie Otis, about a pair of "art police" officers who issue a citation to a young female artist in Portland, Oregon for making bad art. Hilarity, bloody tampons, regurgitated Hostess fruit pies and a severed finger ensue. Featuring an original soundtrack composed by The Broken Heads.

  • Hey I enjoyed this, it did indeed make me laugh!

It is also SO Portland. I do believe artsy Portlanders do have a secret escapeway from underneath their sink to um...some other room.

    Congrats on completion!

  • Thank you kindly, Ms. Dunham! It was so much fun to make, and yes, a fitting epitaph to my long love affair with Portland. I'm moving to San Francisco next, though, and I want to bring the spirit of DIY short film making to another fabled city and find fabulous new collaborators. I'm sure I will.

  • Yes, I believe it was the entity known as "William Shake-speare" who said "There are more things in Art and Police than are dreamt of in your philosophy." It was in A Midsummer Night's Wet Dream, I think.

  • Love it! saw it on the 'big screen' at Chameleon and just had to have another fix. Kudos, Mr. LeTigre on your wonderful film and the cast rocked too! who knew Portland had such, colorfully, beautiful, people hidden in her moist folds?!

  • I am a random person who was in no way involved in the making of this short filme, and having just accidentally happened upon this filme whilst browsing for humorous pet related videos and musings on the deeper philosophical implications of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, I must say I found this to be a truly monumental, nay, life changing filme. indeed, it provoked thoughts on subjects as wide ranging as art, and police. kudos to you sir!
