Chevelle - The Red (cover)

This is me playing Chevelle's "The Red". This is a VERY easy song, only the tuning is weird, which is in drop c# (half step down from drop d, or half step up from drop c). This was recorded about 20 minutes after I learned it. Nothing too impressive, just love the song. I listened to it when I was a kid with my kick ass mom.

In this video I am using the first electric guitar I have ever owned; a simple fender Stratocaster copy. Not much to say about it other than it has tremendous sentimental value to me as I've had it since I was a very young boy.

The amp I am using is a peavey 6505+ 112 combo amp. It's by far the best amp I have ever owned. The tone is amazing and it I never have it dimed on post gain (volume). It's at about 1 and 1/2 in this video, and it makes the living room shake :).

I will be uploading a more.. Enhanced version of this cover. I have to upload it raw (straight from my iPod) because I can't email the entire video for it to be edited. But oh well, hope you guys enjoy :)
