picture this: yoko otoshi

a brief look at yoko otoshi, not a perfect movement as I was trying to describe a simple way of making the waza more dynamic. By creating a reaction in uke it is much easier to throw him, he does all the hard work of driving his body in the direction the waza is going to take, allowing tori to drive his mass through the waza. the first performance shows how it will look with tori not getting any control over uke, and not generating a good hand movement.
