Watch in HD! Here is the video you all have been waiting for, how I make my Plaster of Paris molds for handpouring soft plastic lures.
Materials you will need-
Plaster of Paris
Double Sided tape (permanent)
Super Glue
Cake Pan
Natural Clay (air-dry)
5-gallon bucket or large bowl
Something to mix the plaster

  • @Fishingallday31 why are your baits so chunky and thick? isn't the action compromised because of the thickness

  • @TheZamboon No, I use a super soft formula that maintains durability, while still giving the lure erractic action in the water. The reason for my lures being bigger than most, is because I point my lures to the big bass direction, hence the company name Big Boy Baits. I always loved hooking into a big boy, so I make lures that help you do that.

  • have you thought of putting some metal wire or wooden sticks or plastic sticks in between the molds to give the mold more of a support so it wont be that flexible and more sturdy

  • @xfiles1952 Great idea. I will have to experiment with that.
